The infotainment system comprises the technical basis for digitization in the automobile, the user experience and connected car.
In the past 20 years, together with outstanding colleagues and experts and worldwide partners in the technology- and supply industry, I have been able to more or less develop and implement everything in this field that travels on roads today and also in the near future in Audi vehicles.

1997-2000: Conception and advance development of the system architecture for infotainment systems generation 2 (MOST 25-based) for first application in the Audi A8 (D3)
2000: Networked infotainment system generation 1 (CAN-based) based on 2-DIN radio navigations system
2002: Networked infotainment system generation 2 (MOST 25-based). First application in "Audi MMI" (Multi Media Interface) in the new Audi A8 (D3)
2002 - 2008: Rollout of this generation 2 for all Audi Models
2009: Networked infotainment system generation 3+ (MOST 25-based). First application in the new Audi A8 (D4), subsequent rollout for other Audi Models
2009: Start of development for the modular infotainment construction kit (MIB). Largest and most comprehensive infotainment construction kit in the world, together with colleagues at the VW Group.
2009: Founding of the "e.solutions" joint venture, together with Elektrobit
2009: Evaluation of cooperation with semiconductor manufacturers (among others Nvidia) to shorten innovation cycles.
2010: World’s 1st online navigation with Google Earth
2011: World’s 1st with online traffic for navigation
2012: First application of the MIB1 in the new Audi A3 (MOST 150-based)
2012: World’s 1st Phonebox with Audi connectivity
2012: World’s 1st with LTE in the new Audi A3
2014: First application of MIB2 in the new Audi TT (MOST 150-based)
2014: World’s 1st Audi Virtual Cockpit in the new Audi TT
2014: First application of Apple Car Play and Google Android Auto
2015: Euro Star award for Ricky Hudi for the development of the Audi virtual cockpit (Eurostar 2015)
